Week 20 - Challenger ($35,000+H) - Fergana, Uzbekistan

Unless I'm much mistaken, Chris Eaton & quite a few of the other players involved in the tournament in Busan this week will be packing their bags & heading a little nearer home (in Chris's case at least! wink ) to play in this hard-court tournament.

Another good draw for Chris, as he's got a qualifier in the first round for the second week in a row.

If he wins that, he'll face either another qualifier or 2nd seed Pavel Snobel in round two.

Snobel has an 8-3 H2H against Brits and is on a 6-match Brit-bashing streak since losing to Andrew Banks in Greece F1 five years ago. During that streak, Lee Childs, Boggo (twice), Del, Marray and (at this tournament last year) Slabba have failed to take a set off him.

Doesn't Chris like challenges like this though? smile.gif

Yeh but we talk about this and he'll probably lose to an unranked qualifier in round one LOL

It's the Thai Kitti for Chris in round 1.wink The match is not on tomorrow's OoP.

Chris Eaton(GBR)(350) v Kittipong Wachiramanowong(THA) (810). I'm thinking Chris should have a chance for a second-round berth.

For a Thai player, smelly cat getmecoat.gif is an up-and-coming young star, but he shouldn't trouble Chris - he has a 2-0 H2H against Brits, but they were Konstantinos Kalaitzis (now playing for Greece of course) in two close t/bs and Joshua Jones, against who he dropped a set.
