Unless I've meseed up on http://www.britishtennis.net/stats/ptdf.htm?n=1, it's better than that - I make it that she has the following points:

HELEN PARISH

12-Oct-08Barnstaple50qr22 12Oct09
16-Nov-08Jersey10L162 23Nov09

... in which case this score from Wiesbaden will be the third score she needs to get on the ranking list on Monday week biggrin

Thought I'd revive the tournament referred to in Helen's blog. As ever, Steven was on the case with the 3rd ranking point.

You know how we blunder along in here (speaking for myself, obviously), blissfully unaware that anyone who might be even vaguely affected by our rantings could possibly be reading them unless they actually post on here?

Well apparently (and thanks to Helen for letting me pass this on, because it's prettyy funny) after Helen had called home to pass on the good news about getting her third counting score, her mum called her back that evening to ask if she was sure she had got a ranking 'because there are people on a forum saying you've only got two scores'

Fortunately she called back later when we had corrected ourselves and it was "panic attack over" biggrin

I know we sometimes talk about how certain tennis players handle pressure (or not) but the big question is can we take the pressure of having to get these things right? confuse

And I used to think the worst that could happen was inadvertently giving the Count a good laugh at my expense ... wink
