I doubt its too serious. Its probably better he rests rather than playing 10ks IMO. He shouldnt get used to playing at a low level now hes shown he can take big titles.

As #46 alternate he needed 14 players to drop out to make the cut for qualies, plus Olaso went past him this week so the number has risen to 15.

But don't forget that those 46 alternates are probably the same 46 alternates for pretty much every challenger in Europe that is happening that week and they will all have a different preference as to which one, if any, they chose to try and qualify for.
