Code of Conduct Statement and Rules.

1. Code of Conduct

a. No member shall engage in personal abuse and/or slander to other forum members using forum posts and/or the forum private message or email system.

b. No member shall engage in personal abuse and/or slander directed to any member of the general public using forum posts and/or the forum private message or email system.

c. No member shall use inappropriate language as this forum has a significant child / youth membership.

d. No member shall engage in Overtly Sexual language and discussions.

e. No member shall engage in Overtly Racist language and discussions.

f. No member shall use their avatar and/or signature in a way that would contravene COC rules a through g.

g. Illegal content such as posting of links to illegal sites or posting copyright material is not allowed. Any such posts will be deleted and depending on the nature of the infraction the member may be banned.

2. Application

All current members will be deemed to be covered by this Code of Conduct (COC).
For new members joining today 10th April 2009 it will be a condition of joining the forum that the COC is adhered to at all times.

By being a member and having read this COC, you warrant that you will not post any messages to any person member or not that are obscene, vulgar, sexually-oriented, hateful, threatening, or otherwise contravening of any laws.

3. Authority

The COC above has been written and approved by the senior forum moderators and endorsed by the forum owner Mr David Cox.

4. Acknowledgement

The COC is posted here as a closed sticky thread.
Each and every other Main Sub-forum will have a closed sticky thread which will remind people that the COC is in force and will give a link to this COC.

5. Disciplinary Action

a. Any member who contravenes COC Rules 1(a) to 1(g) will be immediately asked to edit or to remove the offending post. Failure to do so will result in the post being deleted. If the member appears not to be online immediately after the offending post has been made the moderators have the right to delete / edit the post immediately without question.

b. Serious and deliberate breaches will incur an immediate lifetime ban.

One warning will be given for all other breaches. Further breaches will incur an IP ban.

c. The site administrators / moderators retain the option to give temporary bans in certain circumstances.

d. Member signatures who have been banned will be edited.

The signature of the banned member will be edited to show their status.

THIS MEMBER HAS BEEN BANNED UNDER THE TERMS OF THE FORUM CODE OF CONDUCT

6. Appeals.

If any member wishes to challenge any post/thread deletion, temporary or full IP ban then they should email the site administrator and / or the senior moderator below.
