Don't know if I missed this somewhere else but I hadn't realised that Jamie and Dusan had decided not to carry on their partnership. From Jamie's website blog today -
'After Delray I decided to split with Dusan and explore other avenues. I didn't think it was working particularly well, and although I think we both have a lot to offer we both need to find different partners to further our careers. I will play with Simon Aspelin in the upcoming Masters Series events and will review things after that.'
im sure he'd love to be with Aspelin full-time, the way they played in Cincinnati was encouraging for first-timers, but Aspelin is in a partnership with Vizner
Jamie wont get back with Booty long term thats for sure, I believe it did not end on the best of terms. If Colin gets to the top 100 or top 50 for sure expect that to happen but Jamie will want to see Colin get there before stepping down to help him get there.
One thing is for sure Jamie is getting through players too easily & is delevoping a poor name for himself amongst his fellow doubles players.
I have listed possible partners before, but as some pairing have not worked & some have broke down due to injury. Here are a few ideas I think may well be explored -
Kevin Ullyett - Has not had a regular partner since "Jonas" retired Andy Ram - Again has not had a regular partner since Erlich got injured. Leander Paes - This was a done deal, but partnership with Dlouhy improved as 2008 went on & there were logistical issues preventing them playing trial events. Yves Allegro - Has been playing with Tecau will need a better partner if he is to return to top 30. John Isner - Planning on playing more doubles to increase number of matches, has the game built for it. James Auckland - Nobody has mentioned James who has been in the top 60, would make a good team but I feel James would need to get his ranking back in top 100 for Jamie to even consider it. Would no doubt be the 1st choice for DC too. Travis Parrott - Young guy as far as dubs goes (1980), has bags of experience but enjoying a great new realationship with Polsaek.
It may be a good idea Jamie considering what side he plays too, although the real things he lacks are the forehand return of serve & the second serve so he should be looking to protect his Fh when returning & improving the second serve but getting a partner that will not be affraid to stay up & poach on the second serve, enabling Jamie to feel safer & go for more would be a great move. I truly believe that the players who hold serve easiest in doubles are the ones with the partners doing the business at the net.

Its Not Who You Know But What You Know.........Or Is It???
Think Ullyett is the best bet out of those who have been listed, as he's a decent doubles player and has had some success with Jamie in the past.
Ram is playing a lot with Mirnyi at the moment and any partnership would only be temporary until Erlich returns (anyone know what is wrong with him anyway) which would leave us back in the same position while Paes and Aspelin, the other top players seem to have a settled partnership at the moment.
What Jamie needs really though is someone who has good returns to cover up his weakness in that area which will enable them to break serve, which won't put so much pressure on the serve - although there doesn't seem to be anyone like that available at the moment.
