Three Brits in the bottom section here - they don't seem to be able to get away from each other however far they travel this week! However, the tournaments in Québec always seem to be remarkably weak given how accessible they are, so it's good to see a few Brits trying their luck here again - a pity none of the GB top 25 are here really.

QR1: Benjamin George Levi UNR v Gregory Chambaz (UI) WR 1848

An absolute horror show no - we still have Sean Thornley in the main draw though.

L32: Sean Thornley WR 799 v (Q) Brett Joelson (USA) WR 1289

As usual for Québec (and as usual, I don't know why, but more of the Brits in the top 1000 should go here!), a weak draw for a Future with nobody ranked inside the top 400. Last year, Kyle Brassington reached the QFs here, upsetting top seed Timon Nieminen on the way, and Jonny Kinsella beat a seed in R1 as well. If Sean get past this qualifier, he is likely to meet (4) Todd Paul (USA) WR 536 in R2, assuming Paul can get past Tim Bradshaw's conqueror in R1.
