Someone who spoke to Chris at DC says he thinks he's going to be playing in Bath, so perhaps having had to miss Kyoto, he's decided not to bother flying out to Asia and has been promised a WC in Bath instead - seems more than plausible.

:) Hello everyone. I'm the "someone who spoke to Chris at DC", sometime acquaintance of steven here and participator in the Pick'em competitions.

I did indeed speak to Josh and Chris whilst at DC about their upcoming tournaments. Josh confirmed he was off to Thailand next week. Chris said he was offered a tourney in Japan but he had decided to turn it down because of the issues travelling out all that way for only one event and then having to come back again, and would next be playing at Bath instead.

I hope to be able to find out lots of great info here on these boards to continue supporting our British players as much as possible! :)
