It sounds like a really nice event - assuming the roof doesn't cave in !

I'm glad they are testing it before I go in June. . . smile.gif

Apparently it's men's singles, women's singles and mixed doubles.

Was this to me? I have tickets for the second Monday, Centre Court. Nice to know I am not going to travel a long way just to sit and watch rain!

Yes, it was to you. That's a great day to get tickets. I was lucky too - also Centre court but the second Weds, men's QF.

Still fancy trying out that centre court in May beforehand. I read elsewhere that both Kim and Justine are playing some exhibitions this year. Wonder if either will make a comeback - the WTA tour could do with them at present.

I may also queue for ground passes on the Tuesday, it depends on what my daughter wants to do. We usually like to queue the day before the day we have tickets for   - but of course there is no play on Sunday. Queuing the second day means getting up so early that you don't get the hotel breakfast!

Mmmm .....

A sporting event where the contestants don't care whether they win or lose.

Sounds great ...

All it needs for 100% delight is Henri Leconte with his "hilarious" aging playboy schtick.
