Anna Smith is here in qualifying and has drawn the Mexican wild card Alejandra Granillo in the first round. If she wins she will probably meet the 4th seed Alexa Glatch in QR2.

The match is on Centre Court after a mens match which starts at 9pm GMT.

Anna went down a break, got it back, and at *3-4 went down 0-40 but came back to square it at 4-4 follwing a marathon duece session.....

Borwell & Nagle are in the doubles draw and they have finally been given a decent draw for once - they face Andreja Klepac & Agnes Szatmari (SLO/ROU). They are in the same quarter as the top seeds.
