At last another win for Jamie!   I just hope that he & Vemic don't now go & fall flat on their @rses in the QF, where they will face either Gulbis & Kunitsyn or Nieminen & Söderling...

Looks as though that match may not be played "today":  the Blake/Hewitt singles match was suspended after about four games!  Weather problems, I wonder?

I see the top seeds, Melo & Sá, are out, beaten 6-7(5) 6-4 [7-10] by the American/Australian partnership of James Cerretani & Ashley Fisher!

         'Tis on today's. After the Cerretani/Fisher v Parrott/Polasek doubles match, which is due to start at 16.00 local time. By the time J&D take to the court I'll be in dreamland.

 

Vemic saves 2 break points but double faults on the 3rd and Gulbis & Kunitsyn lead *2-0.

They really should win this one; Kunitysn has a good doubles record with Tursunov but Gulbis doesn't have a much of a doubles record.

And Jamie & Vemic waste 3 break points and are now down *0-3.
