Hi Vandenburg I am a teacher, I completed my PGCE last academic year and I am currently teaching maths in a secondary school currently, what is your PGCE in?
hope to do a pgce in secondary science, tho mainly biology, im just so scared of the pgce year and people saying you work a 8 til 8 day etc lesson planning and that the drop out rates huge....
I would say the PGCE is gernally hard work but there is a number of variables that can make is more or less difficult, the main one being you mentor ( the person in charge of you) in your placement school.
