Pauffley got through the first two rounds of qualies, but lost in the last round against ELESKOVIC, Ervin [3], WR552. 6-3 6-4

Knights lost in the first qualie round.

So no qualifiers here then.

What is up with the Brit v Brit matches this week? There seems to be one in nearly every tournament on the male and female side! Hopefully that means we've used up our yearly quota in one year and there are no more, though somehow I don't think it works like that wink.gif

No idea, but we had a very long period at one point where they never drew each other, and I suppose other countries get a lot more matches between players in their own countries.

Hopefully the Brits can have a good week here, with the winner of Jonny/Josh joining James in going deep in the event

Shame that Pauffley didn't qualify, and a surprise to see Goodall and Ward lose the doubles match, but good win for Marray in the doubles and Ward get the singles win

Marray must have beaten Goodall as he is on the OOP for tomorrow.

Jonny won 7-6(6), 3-6 6-3 which is a bit of a turn up!

James Ward gets a w/o through to the quarters as well thumbsup.gif
