no way. not a chance. He had to stop becuase of injury. It wount be any better now that hes older. But if it is true..best of luck to him. ill follow and support him
This is one of those stories that makes you check the date to see if it isn't April Fools Day, as I just don't see why Greg would be coming back, but apparently there is some truth to it, at least according to John Lloyd.
I'm not sure where he'd get the WC's, although I'm sure there are a few places that would give him one (probably Queens, Eastbourne and Wimbledon), but other than that he'd have a long way to go.
Fair play to him for trying to make a comeback, but I'd be very surprised if it didn't all go wrong and end with him losing convincingly to a lot of players (although he'd still be a pretty decent doubles player if he wants to try that route)
I can see Greg being British number 2 again if he pays toeven half his standards.I see in press Greg offered to play Davis Cup even ahalf fit Greg would be better that Bogga who although a good player has noback bone for afight in Davis Cup
I think it's perfectly possible for Greg to come back and play doubles. The average age of the tour level doubles players is much older than the singles players is it not? After all, I assume he is looking for a doubles rather than a singles spot in the Davis Cup.
I can't see any of the British grass court tournaments turning him down for a doubles wildcard if he is playing with a fellow Brit, maybe he could even get Stretch back on his feet, they seemed to have a certain chemistry playing together.

I have always said that I'd love to have Tim & Greg play doubles together at Queens and then Timbledon.....I know they are not the best of friends, but would be great....
It is a bit strange to think of Greg coming back, but I have missed him. I always liked....maybe Newport Beach would give him a WC, I think he won there a time or two.
