New-look ATP website

http://www.atpworldtour.com

This must have appeared in the last 24 hours. Looks pretty awful, with the new turquoise theme clashing horribly with the background (though the background itself might look ok as a pic on its own if it wasn't on a tennis site!) and their attempt to squash the rankings/stats pages has left the formatting looking particularly bad there.

There is the odd welcome improvement though, e.g. Challenger qualifying results are now shown on the player activity pages, though until they do the same with Futures qualifying, we'll still need to go to ITF to find a player's full record. I think the "career match record" page for each player is new too - that's quite interesting. I guess that makes it a minor triumph of substance over style so it isn't all bad! wink

looks a bit different doesn't it!

the player match record is a good addition, saves going to tennisinsight to take a look.
seems to be trying to add in more stats from challenger matches - although a lot of them are zero.

I hate it also. Looks really busy and complex. I'm sure I'll grow to love it like the new facebook. I think its a bit much to publisise the end of tour masters for the whole year on the main page but thats money I suppose
