Poor Amanda. Nothing seems to have gone her way since she qualified for Birmingham back in June...

Not much likelihood of an end of season resurgence by Amanda with that draw.

Another useful 5 points for Yasmin.

Katie back to getting bakery products, rather than giving them.

On the evidence of her first round win (beating Klotz 0 & 2), surely that should be the other way round? confuse.gif

Excellent result for Kat, and a decent effort by Yasmin against a talented player, but a worrying score for Katie, who actually won fewer points than the unheralded Schoeffel. At least she won the crucial points.

Doubles QF:

DE BEER (RSA) / HENDLER (BEL) (4) defeated ELLIOTT (GBR) / O'BRIEN (GBR) 2-6 6-2 [10-3]

A disappointing end to the season for Katie. When players in their 20s ranked in or around the top 100 start to go backwards they often fail to get back to that level for a long time if at all. The player she just lost to is an example. Lets hope Katie proves to be one of the exceptions.
