I wasn't suggesting that the other two don't have chances, just that I thought the other two matches might be close but Chris would prevail over a 24-y-o with a career high just inside the top 700.
I'm intrigued as to what the error was that made you hang your head in shame.

One bit of good news though, Brit-basher extraordinaire Nielsen (the other seed in Josh's quarter) went out today too.
Good question! Bad day all round for the seeds yesterday: the second seed, Matthias Bachinger (GER), was dumped out 7-5 2-6 2-6 by the American qualifier, Michael Rubin, & the fifth seed, Colin Ebelthite (AUS), 4 & 1 by our old friend, Gary Lugassy! I'd love to think that augurs well for James, but pray that the "seeds' curse" will not strike Josh!
* James & Josh also play their doubles match against the Thai top seeds, Sanchai & Sonchat Ratiwatana, today...
Sadly, the Hoose is right. In Challenger main draws, we are 0-11 since Jonny beat Malisse in Mons 5 weeks ago, Boggo 0-4, Josh 0-3, Slabba, Bloomers, Chris & Jonny all 0-1.
The week before Mons, Josh & Bloomers both won R1 matches in Grenoble, but no Brit has had back to back Challenger main draw wins since Boggo reached the QFs in Orléans 8 weeks ago, the week before the DC tie.
Even in Challenger qualifying, we are 0-4 (Slabba 2, Marray, Evans) since Jonny qualified in Rennes in early October.

I had accused you of thinking this tournament was in Hawaii based on a comment you made in the Nashville thread.
I then realised this weeks US futures tournament is in Hawaii and proceeded to attempt to remove the egg from my face with the edit!
I suspect Ross has a very similar game to Eaton. Huge serve not too much else - but his prbably not too much else outweighs Eaton's probably not too much else.
I remember Ebden getting spanked by Myles Blake back in the early days, and he's gone on to be a decent enough player where as Blakey has some how not managed to progress at all..........
Anyway, i would expect Goodall to beat Ebden and will therefore predict an Ebden win!
Hopefully Wardy can continue his good recent form but he's up against it for sure!
