Week 44 - Challenger (50k+H) - Aachen, Germany

Jamie Delgado and James Auckland are here in the doubles draw with seperate partners, in what is quite a strong field for a 50k+H.

Jamie Delgado / Tomasz Bednarek (POL) v Alessandro Motti (ITA) / Lukas Rosol (CZE)
James Auckland / Dick Norman (BEL) v Rohan Bopanna (IND) / Aisam-Ul-Haq Qureshi (PAK)

The bottom half of the draw, in which Aucks & Tricky Dicky find themselves, has magically opened up today:  the second seeds, one Eric Butorac, & his latest partner, David Martin, lost 4-6 6-7(5) to the German pair, Denis Gremelmayr & Philipp Marx, while the fourth seeds, Yves Allegro & Horia Tecau (SUI/ROM), who potentially lay in Aucks'/Norman's way, assuming they get past Bops & Qureshi, went out 6-7(?) 3-6 to another German pair, Andreas Beck & Philipp Petzschner! wink

Damn, damn, damn...!  Bops & Qureshi won, though Aucks & Tricky Dicky made them fight for their victory:  6-7(4) 6-3 [13-11]! cry
