This ITF event is so strong that Anne Keothavong, the only Brit playing singles here, is unseeded. Her first round draw is one of the best available. Live scoring and live streaming are on offer at times during the week.

Anne won 6-4 6-4. I had the live score in the background whilst working and I think there were 3 consecutive breaks from 3-3 in the second set to decide matters, after the first 6 games went with serve.

Not a good day in the Berdych household then - Tomas lost to Numpty in Madrid and Kutuzova must have beaten (5) Safarova, whom I assumed Anne would be facing next.

The SB in the TB jumped from 4-0 to Anne and Anderson to the set to Fedak and Mircic. So a CTB to decide.

Anne's match has gone from the SB now so I assume it was a mistake before and she won 7-6, 7-6.

Sarah's match is now on the SB.
