Feaver was second alt but doesn't appear in qual draw

Strangely the top seed (and only ranked player) in qualifying was 16th on the Alt list with 11 players who had this tournament as their priority 1 event above him - they can't all have got into the main draw! I think Feaver probably has though, if you're one of the top two on the Alt list, you usually end up getting a cleared SE place at worst.

As expected, James (2nd Alt on the last published list) did scrape into the main draw once the SE spaces were cleared:

L32: James Feaver WR 812 v Jose Carlos Fernandes (POR) UNR

Looks like a good draw for James, but this info comes from the OoP from the women's tournament link on TennisEurope - the men's Q & main draws and OoP on ATP and TE don't seem to have been updated since Friday night.

Unfortunately, Orien must have lost as Vazquez-Catoira is on the order of play in the main draw.  (Unless there's a lucky loser thing going on.)

What a stroke of luck for Jamie after a few dud draws!

Yes, a good draw. Turns out Fernandes was a qualifier, not a WC as I had guessed. The Constellation lost his FQR match 4 & 4.

Semjan beat James 2 & 4 on clay in Bournemouth back in April and thrashed Josh Goodall 1 & 3 on clay in Edinburgh a year earlier! His 3-1 record v Brits also includes a win against Aucks where he only conceded 4 games and the only Brit to beat his has been Hutch in 3 sets in 2005.
