thats one hell of a trek for josh to korea from denmark!
there is another big hard court challenger the week after so it might pay off.

how far out is he?

surely playing atpq would be a) cheaper b) not swithcing surface c) there is a challenger in germany the week after anyway.

He is 6 out - probably will withdraw as he did not make initial cut...as you say long way to go!

Updated with Futures - I imagine Fleming has a good chance of a wild card in Glasgow!

Dan Evans is not showing on any of the lists for the next few weeks. Is he injured does anybody know? With his excellent recent form, I'd have presumed he'd be looking for every opportunity to push on?

Another option is that he is in a training block and / or making some money coaching. I Believe he is still on his 'own' ie no LTA help.

His last match was in a doubles final in Spain where he and Dan Cox lost 4-6, 5-2 ret, which doesn't look good.

Deadline for Glasgow F16 was yesterday for withdrawls / signups. No change to the first post.

I would hope Fleming would get a WC. Thornley still may get a DA depending on SE spots being cleared and other WC's.

I'm assuming he must be injured - in his position, he needs to get his ranking up urgently as this will help tremendously with sponsorship, which he desperately needs. With so many cheap to get to events happening right now, I'm sure he wouldn't consider doing any coaching - he certainly shouldn't be. It would be a curious time for a training block - he can train during the last 6 weeks of the year when there are no easy to get to hard court futures events.

There only he events he can sensibly consier before the end of the yeat are GB F17, and GB F18 and maybe try to qualify for the Challenger in Jersey which is a +H

Does any body on the baord have any contaact with Dan? Does he have a web site yet?

Cheers all, enjoy the w/e!
