Georgie meets qualifier Gabriela Paz tomorrow. That is not an easy draw. Paz reached the final of the US Open Juniors beating home star Melanie Oudin (who beat Georgie in Lexington)

Superb win for Georgie - best of her career I think on ranking. Silva has a very good record against Brits though - I make it 12 consecutive wins, including 5 at Felixstowe (which she won of course) and one over Georgie earlier in the year.

Unfortunately it's not a win over a top 100 player cry

(annoyingly, Ditty dropped from last week's 98 as shown on the drawsheet to 103 on Monday) but she's still the highest-ranked player Georgie has ever beaten and it's a brilliant win biggrin

Marvellous win. Georgie seems to be really on a high at the moment and should soon be in the top 200 surely. Her form seems to suggest she is well capable of making the top 150 and being right up there with our top ladies. Keep it going.
