It is now open knowledge that Jamie & Max have split, I am just wondering who Jamie will play with next!!!??? I have a few ideas below -
Paes Dlouhy Ullyett (Favourite)
Other than those 3 I have no other ideas except British players, which for Davis Cup would be a massive benefit but I think Jamie would see this as below him.

He might not - if there were any ranked highly enough to guarantee them entry to tournaments of the calibre in which he's become accustomed to playing in company with Max & his ilk!
I think if Fleming gets his ranking up to where it should be they can become a world class pair!! Most of the other British guys play Jamie's side of the court so thats the trouble but I am sure he would play with Aucks or Hutcho!! I think Ullyett is the obvious choice too as Bjorkman has stopped now, although Max could have the same idea & I know if I had the choice of Jamie or Max it would have to be the beast every time!!! I am sure he will fall on his feet, I remember this time last year we were having the same chat & he surprised us all & pulled Max out of the bag!!! Expect Jamie to surprise us with his latest partner choice!! For Wimbledon next year I would love to see him talk Navratilova in to playing mixed, that would be unreal!!!

LOL, well I'm sure when whichever poor soul it is is chosen, we will hear about it in an all guns blazing press release, interview, book and there will be commemorative T-shirts produced for the AM.com lot. I look forward to it

Slightly off topic but could not help noticing that Max Mirni did not take long to win a title post-Murray.
(4) M. Mirnyi /A. Ram def P. Petzschner /A. Peya 6-1 7-5
BA-CA Tennis Trophy Champions 2008.
So with Aucks winning a dubs title last week, Ross in hot form and now Max showing what he can really do...I wonder what Jamie is thinking ?.... perhaps: "should have stayed with Butorac".
Attitude? Some of those interviews earlier in the year, where he said he wasn't as dedicated as Andy and liked to have a good time, didn't inspire me with confidence.
Fitzy's looking for a new partner ... given the choice of Jamie Murray and that Dutch guy, he might even risk Jamie!
Reading between the lines, I got the impression that the eminently sensible (and attached) Booty might have suggested to Jamie that he should spend a bit less time out on the town during tournaments chasing girls with his "Do you know who my brother is?" line so they could spend more time training together and that Jamie may have said something like "Sod you, I'm not doing that, I'll ask mummy to find me a top 10 partner instead - you're dumped!"
That's very cynical of me, I know, and probably utter rubbish but it's a more plausible theory than some I've heard.

I get the impression Jamie thinks he is better than he is! He was doing next to nothing in singles. Teamed up with Colin Fleming had a good run in doubles went to Wimbedon with Colin then Colin went back to uni. Teamed with Booty had good partnership, won Wimbledon with Jelena when he did play well but I wonder what would happened if he had not played with a top 5 ladies singles player? Teamed up with Max did reasonably well but they did not gel. Went close with Huber again top ladies doubles player this time. So when playing with an average player Jamie does not inspire because in my view he is decidely average himself---------my reasons seen him at Edinburgfh a few years ago in Edinburgh he did nothing was outplayed in singles by mediocre players. Davis Cup won two doubles playing with Tim and Greg. Playing with other players zero wins! He needs a better player than himself to inspire him. I have said before get back to basics concentrate on singles to make a go of that. If he wants to be taken seriously!
OldEchoMan probably won't want to blow his own trumpet, especially on a thread that appears to want to do nothing but denigrate the lad, but here's what he had to say about Jamie's search for, er, "Mr Right" in this morning's Times.
