Tennis in the Commonwealth Games???????

Hey ive heard recently that tennis could be added as soon as the next commonwealth games in Delhi.
Would this carry similar value in terms of points etc to the olympic tennis

i see a potential ATP controversy as obv only commonwealth players could compete for these points(obv medals between england scotland canada aus,SA and NZ)
any one have any ideas on how this could possibly not being anoying to non commonwealth players, claiming lower ranked commonwealth players could gain easy points??????

I think for that very reason there would be no ATP points available if this were to happen. It would just be for the medals and pride.

It was decided back in 2006 that tennis will be added to the Commonwealth Games in 2010 and there was an article in the Guardian speculating on the prospect of Andy playing for Scotland. However the date of the CG is early October, so it may involve a clash with a 1000 (Masters Series) event, and thus weaken the field in Delhi. I am sure there will not be any ATP/WTA points for the event.
