Week 36 - Tsukuba 25K - 2008.

Just our luck... Tara and Jade are in the same section.

Main draw field is quite strong! I'm not sure if Tara should have done this given that she'll not get a single easy match here. But she can do very well if she is playing her best tennis, obviously!

I lived in Tsukuba for a month. Will be pretty hot and humid this time of year.

Good luck to both

Hopefully the winner will get the Q vs. Q spot that's not near Date-Krumm.

Impressive performance from Tara today. It will be good if she qualifies and wins two rounds.

Tara is playing top 500 now.

She'd even be near top 500 in rankings were it not for the ITF....

Big test in the next round. Not at all easy, but possible.

Tara lost but it was relatively close given the more than 500 difference in rankings.

R2: (q) Tara MOORE (GBR) 750 lost to (4) Junri NAMIGATA (JPN) 222 6-3 5-7 6-2 cry
