Sean Thornley stays in Ecuador after his good run last week.  He's drawn qualifier and household name Vlademyros Mavropoulos-Stoliarenko (the Greek who was born in Russia, lives in the USA and is visiting Ecuador) in the first round.

Nice draw for Sean, and I think a Qf is in reach this week, which would be another good result for him, but Camponzano may be too good for him

Maytin in the second round will be tough. He's playing very well of late.

The second and eighth seeds both a'd qualifiers, with a comprehensive scoreline, so I'm feeling a little less confident...

Edit: yes, looking back over previous results in Ecuador, it seems that Sean lost bleh
