(Skupski) is also Alt for Binghampton but much further down list than Delhi.
Unless he has a very strong stomach it may be wise to choose USA

Note
While Josh is currently (2) in Delhi he would only be (20) in Binghampton.
Should these events carry the same points?

It's just that all those playing on a hard court will probably go to America as there is a long series of events there, which leads up to the US Open qualifying, while if you go to Dehli, you have to survive potential illness and then fly to the USA for the US Open qualies only a day or so before they begin, so you don't have a chance to adjust.

Hope the boys can take full advantage of the very weak draw, with Josh being highly seeded, and Slabba will be 5th/6th seed as well, so a great chance for the two of them to score some points, and with Quereshi being the defending champion, the courts must be quick judging by his terrible record on even hard courts, so that is perfect for Eaton.

I guess Skupski's going to the USA with Bloomers, but if he does sneak into Dehli, it would be wise to go there, as he isn't going to be a DE at too many challengers.

Boggo looks like he's having a week off, unless he goes for LA/Washington qualies, which I think there is a chance he could do so, especially if he's still with Brad

Gulp! There's no way Slabba is playing this schedule - he's in Britain this week, due for Russia next, Brazil after that and then India. omg.gif

it certiainly looks hard. its doable if he loses early, but thats not what we want. howver 1 really good week and it will all be good.
he gets on well with boggo, obviosuly taking a leaf out of the alex bogdnaovic guide to tournament selection and air mile collection.

am fairly sure alex is just going to have a break this week.

notice he mentions his injury in most interviews at the mo, i think its really playing on his mind and he wants to ensure it doesn happen again, 4 back to back challengers, week break then bronx, usoq could well work better, try and make sure he 1) doesnt over do it and 2) go into the usoq's feeling refreshed.

and of course right after he is going to want to get ready for the indoor season/dc

That's great, Blade. If he played that, injury was the most likely outcome.

Thanks, Count. Yeah, he should rest for a week, no doubt, but he may play do at least one Tour qualies to test his level.

Updated with Futures - a bit of a Brit invasion in Portugal!

Given past Brit performance in Portugal, it looks more like lemmings going over a cliff ... (or do the women do better there?)

Wildly optomistic biggrin

Especially as Bloomers will have to qualify in Binghampton and hasn't played particularly well on outdoor hard for a while... think qualifying should be the aim for him that week and then take it from there.

Would be surprised if Goodall won back-to-back challengers in India, but it's a very weak field and he will be the 2nd seed for the first won (the second one's list should be out today or tomorrow, but will have to wait for someone to post it somewhere to see if it is just as poor), so there's a good chance someone could win it if they deal with the conditions, and a great chance for Slabba to show what he can do, given he'll be seeded in 2 weak challengers.

Konta plays in Monteroni D'Arbia 25K. She has a wild card.
