Slabba is first ALT for Belo Horizonte so he will definitely make it in, unusual to see three of our challenger level Brits in South America and it sounds like they have livestream for this Challenger.
The three Brits are the only Europeans in the event so lets hope they can make some good progress in what I believe may be a wise choice of event.
brits have often struggled in South Amercia, i think boggo and bakers trip there earlier this year was a bit of a disaster so i guess the general conseus is leave well alone :)
will be interesting to see how they get on.

its great slabba has cemented himself as a challenger player now and with goodall bloomfield reviving their careers + marray, baker back from injury we suddenly have a lot of challenger level players and the best bit is is that more are coming through, ie eaton warrd skupski.
Yes, I agree - the dearth of Challenger-level Brits recently has been almost worse than not having any more players in the top 100. Futures points just build up sooooo slowly!

Think Chris Eaton will have a run at it now, and hopefully take the momentum with him through to the top 300.
Next Junior you;d have to go with Cox, I guess.
How is he on clay? his lack of a serve is going to hamper him on anything faster you would think, but he passes and moves well enough to suggest he should do well on the slower surfaces.
Dan should be a good clay courter, even if only in theory. He trained (and still trains at times) a lot in Spain. This year he has done poorly on red clay, but I think that they were just because he was terribly low on confidence after the schedule he was playing. Chances are that if he played them now, he would bagel a few of the guys he lost to back in Feb and March.
Hopefully his coaches will work on his serve in the off season. Granted he will probably never become someone who will win matches with his serve alone, but something solid with good accuracy is definitely achievable. Serve has a lot more to it than just height - you just need to look at someone like Benjamin Becker, who's 'only' about 5'10'' but serves three times better than tall people like Murray.
The LTA needs someone like Tarik Benhabiles! That man has coached both Benjamin Becker and Roddick and his newest student, Marius Copil, is only 17, but got an unbelievable 31 (!) aces against Younes El Aynaoui in Halle qualies.
Chances are that at least one SE will be taken as Somdev plays Stoppini in Lexington. Somdev is less likely (though definitely not unlikely) to make the trip as he's taking things slowly.
Estrella plays Mallise, which Malisse should win and he's a direct entrant. Also, De Heart plays Kendrick, where Kendrick should win and he's a direct entrant.
There are now only 21 players due for Senegal F1. Booked your flight, FD?
