I'll have three bagels and a breadstick please! Qualifying for the loss of just one game is pretty good and Tim gets rewarded with a very nice draw! smile.gif

Switching to week 28 rankings for the main draw:

L32: Timothy Patient WR 1597 v (WC) Dmitriy Makeyev (KAZ) UNR
L32: Maniel Bains WR 1062 v Soong-Jae Cho (KOR) WR 1379

Well done to Tim for qualifying, and a great chance to get another ranking point after being given a gift of a draw - great tournament picking from him and he deserves a ranking point for it.

Hope Bains can win, but his thrashing last week by another Korean doesn't suggest he's in the best of form at the moment

Well, although he is no Gregory Howe, Tim will turn 23 in September so perhaps any big jumps up the rankings ladder shouldn't be expected; but that's no reason not to hope for any such jumps!

Also - Just found this after typing Tim's name into google: http://www.scotthamptonfoundation.org.uk/events/tennis.htm
Unfortunately the pictures haven't been labelled so which player is Tim is anyone's guess.
