The Wardinator was the 2nd alternate for the main draw on the last update and everyone in qualifying is ranked below him, so I reckon both SE places got freed up and he scraped a DA.

So, Rob got the best result of the day, but only because just two of he Brits managed to win 3 games and Rob did it against a seed.

How does he keep going?
Imagine going from country to country, getting thrashed in the first round in an empty hall somewhere, and then packing your bags for the next thrashing somewhere else.
What's he doing it for? Surely the dream of playing at wimbledon has gone and most of the players find the grind of touring the worst part of the job, compensated only by the wins and the fact that you are closing in the goal of playing in the bigger events etc.
If you take that away from it, then all your left with is the grind and the thrashings, what a life!
Is he hoping to carve out a showbiz career as a sort of Eddie Edwards of the Tennis world, is he a masochist, I only hope he just enjoys hanging round Kazakstani **** holes, or maybe he simply loves the fact that I am sat here when I should be working, wondering what the hell goes off in Robert Dee's head. Nothwithstanding that this week there are two others who have done even worse!!
Rob does appear to be quite selective about where he plays - usually in sunny Spain. I would hope he at least gets a nice holiday out of it - a chance to play a few practice games in the warm weather and have a nice meal in the evening. If he's doing it purely for the tennis dream, I fear he's misguided.
