Typical big server score! Good luck to Dan and Jonny.

Groth took 1st set from Vacek.
He was serving bombs.

James now leaving to play tennis!
so no more reports - Over to the LTA!

Bad timing as Jonny is on next!

PS - should have realised that Toby would be there, so hopefully will get Marray v Cox at least!

Thanks Drew....don't want to upset anyone, but I hope Marray wins....always liked him and would love to see him have another good crack at the apple. I wish he went to Newport with that serve but hey....nothing against Cox what so ever.

Yeah, these all GB matches are always harsh.

It's tough to call who I want to win this match.... I want Coxy to win because the points would be great for him and he would fly up the rankings, and because he always seems to get horrible draws so it would be good for him to get a win for once... but I want Jonny to win as he needs the points as well, and after his long battle with injury and recent good form, this is a chance for him to do well in the tournament.

Sheddie, I am going to see that movie the day after tomorrow. wink.gif

You should change the 'f' to a capital one, though. I am very fussy about these things!

Or they're both playing equally poorly biggrin

Sounds like a good match between them at least, and I think Jonny's experience and the bigger serve would help in the tiebreak, but it may be easier for Cox to get minibreaks as all he'll need is a good return to get one.
