RE: Week 29 - Manchester Challenger [35K+H] - 2008.

Indoors will favour players like Skupski if he is here, Bloomers also very good indoors. it will ruin it for Wardy though he's terrible indoors!

If it is indoors I assume there will be no spectacting ability.

Shame as I was planning a couple of visits.

I'm pretty sure there's spectator facilities at the indoor centre there, I know ppl who've been in the past when its been held indoors and they've been able to watch the matches

I'm planning on going myself although I haven't decided on which days as of yet [hopefully there will be someone who is available on these days to whom I can give my mob number for score updates ...]

Btw I've just emailed the tournament organiser people about spectator options if and when the tournament is played indoors, hopefully they'll get back to me before Monday [although I wouldn't bank on it..]

Guess the wild card went to Ken Skupski. Quite deserved.

Karol Beck on indoor hard won't be fun. Tough luck for Bam Bam (and Seb Jackson and Skupski).

Unless someone steps up massive, the only chance of having a qualifier is from Flan's section, which also has Kinsella, Scott Dickson and Harfield.

Not a great draw for the few Brits who've chosen this over the futures event, and not a great chance of getting a qualifier here (but we've got 8 in the main draw already)

Bamford will have a very tough task against Beck, but it's possible he can beat him, while Kinsella must be getting fed up of playing Singh having played him twice in the last month already, but as he won 1 of those matches, he could beat him.

Kinsella is the best bet to qualify, but he would have wanted to play on the grass though

Last year it was all held indoors and there is a small spectator area that is by court 1. Isn't too bad and can get to talk to some of the players.

I'll PM you my mobile and will let you know which days I'm going so dont clash with press pass or if wanna meet up to watch pal

Last year the main draw was made 4 p.m. on a Sunday. Possibly it's the same this year so it could be out at around 4:35 today.

Expected wins for Flan and Kinsella, so hope they can rest up now and take out the seeds later on in the day.

Hooshyar!!!! Where has this performance come from???

Would be great if he won, but with no Brit in the section it isn't going to help us get a qualifier, unless he produces it again against Raja (why couldn't Bamford, Kinsella or Flan have been in the bottom section)
