Oh no. What a fight, but nothing to show for it in the end. cry I wonder if Peya just served blinders on the bps or whether Richard could have taken one of them.

GSM Peya 6-4, 6-4, 3-6, 1-6, 8-6

Great fightback from Bloomers, but what a disaster to finally get the MP in the 5th only to waste it and then get broken straight away.

Hate to say it but it looks like a choke, but hopefully we'll find out it was Peya hitting some stunning winners rather than Bloomers missing some easy shots.

Hope he gets in as a LL now (1/16 chance is someone does withdraw), but missing this chance has got to be hard to take for him

Gutted!!

Massive effort to get back to two sets all, and then to get to match point, will be absolutely gutted. However the last two weeks have shown a big improvement, lets hope he can take that forward because he has the game to be better than where he is.

There's 3 withdrawn already isnt there? But isnt it done on a highest ranked first in which case a wc is going to be bottom of the list.

Draw is tomorrow at 10am

The 3 withdraws were before the point at which it goes to LL's so the next 3 ALT's got the spots

I'd be surprised if someone doesn't.

Those struggling with injury are:

Stepanek
Karlovic
Ferrero
Llodra
Volandri
Nishikori

And there's always the chance someone won't like their draw and just make up an injury to get out of playing

Wouldn't class it as a choke as he wasn't serving for the match but what a fight. I can't say I am too sad because i haven't followed it all the qway through but it sounds mammoth for BLoomers, lets hope for the LL. Anyway just saw Eatons result, absolutely amazing from him. Paitence is supposed to be pretty good on grass but Eaton has really shown he is grass court material!

Not for ITF events like Grand Slams - it's a random draw involving all 16 3rd round losers...

Have to hope Bloomers's name comes out in the top 3/4 or he's got no chance

(and as it's his home slam.... surely a slight fix to ensure his name appears would be in order smile)
