Dude, thats way too close for comfort. Who knows though the german might have been playing fast surfaces before coming to spain. All Alex has been probably playing on is clay.

Doh! Worse still, the winner is likely to play Diaz-Ventura, who beat him in the Balaguer Final ...

Still, at least he qualified and is still winning matches. smile

Dorsch is WR 272 btw.

Lol, Sohal & Derakhshani. 0&0 anyone?

Garbage draw for Ward, top seed in R1, and Diaz Ventura/Jakupovic awaits in R2!

Dorsch is a class fast surface player who can defeat and has beaten quite a few top 100 guys! I don't know what he's doing out here instead of Surbiton as he normally doesn't do Futures.

Whatever the result, he's easily the best player Alex has ever played and it'll be a good experience for him.

Twenty quid. Not great odds I'm probably imagining though! Might get an extra quid back...

Horrible draw for the Wardinator, and I'd be surprised if he could win the match, but good luck to him and hopefully he can take something away from the match even if he does lose.
