I assume Ken forgot to enter? Should walk that qualies draw anyway, might work out as an advantage, Jamie Baker style

Ken wasn't down for anything this week but I guess with his recent good form, seeing how week the Kuwaiti futures are compared to the money/points available and the possibility of a Surbiton WC promised to him, he's decided to stay out here for 1 more week and try and take some more easy points
QR1: (q1) Ken Skupski WR 631 v Joseph Olise (NGR) UNR QR1: Ross Henson UNR v Abdullah Qassim (KUW) UNR
Three of Qassim's last ten matches have been double bagel losses, though he did beat Ed Allinson back in 2006. As for Olise, he has only played in three futures before, all in Nigeria, and the only player he has beaten (in 3 sets) lost 0 & 1 in his only other ITF match.

Richard Bloomfield is in Turkey, maybe Ken had hoped to join him but made the final here in doubles so stayed on for the second week?
Good point, but it's probably better than Ken ended up having to stay in Kuwait as he wouldn't have been seeded in Turkey, while here he will probably be seeded in the main draw and has another chance to get some easy points on the board
FQR: (q1) Ken Skupski WR 551 beat (WC) Zaki al Abdullh (KSA) UNR by
Unfortunately it looks like they did the main draw before qualifying was complete so Ken wasn't seeded and could face Brydan Klein (who beat him 4 & 2 last week) in R2.
L32: (Q) Ken Skupski WR 551 v Hsin-Han Lee (TPE) WR 651 L32: (7) Miles Kasiri WR 609 v Harshana Godamanne (SRI) WR 1057
Let's hope even 2008 Miles can't lose this one ...
