Bloomers vs. Nielsen will come down to who serves best and so probably a matter of who wins the key points (and could well go to tiebreaks, so good practise for the grass)
Hope to see him qualify and get some confidence ahead of the grass season where he'll be looking to do well (and there's a Queens WC up for grabs as well)
Boggo may be here as well if he has made the trip so good luck to him if he is here and hopefully he can build on the first 3 and 1/2 sets he produced last week and have a good strong run here ahead of the grass
A pity there aren't more Brits here in qualifying really - what a weak Q draw for the most valuable Challenger of the week!
QR2: (q5) Richard Bloomfield WR 372 v (WC) Cenk Uludag (TUR) UNR
Uludag seems to be making his ITF debut. (q1) Nielsen however is WR 307. He beat Ken 2 & 3 in Jersey this year and has a 19-match winning streak against Brits (all in straight sets too!) since he lost to Colin Fleming in July 2006. However, Bloomers did beat him 7-6(1) 2-6 7-5 in the Dublin Challenger earlier that month.
This would be the kind of match Bloomers has to be winning on one of his favoured surfaces if there is to be any hope of him regaining former heights.

Wow, 19 matches is too long. I wonder if anyone out there has one that's longer?
A longer Brit-bashing streak you mean? It's hard to imagine that there would be, isn't it, can anyone think of any possibilities?
Come to think of it, don't post that here (the Count might get into one of his off-topic strops ), I'll set up a new thread where we can add long winning and losing streaks against Brits as we notice them.
Suffice to say here that even Tsonga only managed a nono-decuple Brit-bash before he lost to Andy in Metz last year, so another win for Nielsen would beat that.

Main draw is out, and Bogdanovic has drawn an old foe in George Bastl in the first round, with the 7th seed in round 2, and then the top seed in round 3.
Ledovskikh is definately beatable in round 2 though, and while Lu has been in great form this season, he's going to be tired after two long weeks in India.
Qualifier get Ledoskikh (7), Golubev (6), Udomchoke, and Altuna, who is an unranked WC. Very obvious who Bloomers will hope to get if he qualifies then!
Hey, you love us really. Anyway, I thought 'tards only applied to Fedtards, Rafatards and Djokotards? ... still, it's nice to have Bloomers and the Bogster elevated to that level, even if only fleetingly moment.
Anyway, I think you'll find we've all turned into Wardinatards the last couple of weeks ... at least until he lost in qualifying on Saturday.
QR1: (q7) Richard Bloomfield WR 376 beat (WC) Cenk UIludag (TUR) UNR by 2 & 1 FQR: (q7) Richard Bloomfield WR 376 v (q1) Frederik Nielsen (DEN) WR 312
L32: Alex Bogdanovic WR 242 v (SE) George Bastl (SUI) WR 294
So, can Bloomers prevent Nielsen from outdoing Tsonga by completing the icosa-Britbash? (beating Brits 20 times in a row) It's not just my big fluffy ears I'll be crossing for this one!
As for Boggo, Bastl has got his SE and has moved up 86 places in the 26 May rankings by reaching the Final of the Fergana Challenger, where he lost to Snobel in straight sets. Boggo beat him 4 & 2 in Sunrise earlier this year, coincidentally making the H2H record 4-2. The full record between them is:
2003 Surbiton Ch QF won 6-3 3-6 6-1 2005 Wrexham Ch R2 lost 7-6(1) 6-1 2005 Wroclaw Ch R1 won 6-3 4-1 ret. 2006 Newport ATP R2 won 6-1 7-6(6) 2007 Aus Open R1 lost 3 & 4 2008 Sunrise Ch R1 won 4 & 2

I think the term "Boggotard" appeared after Bogdanovic had many votes in MTF's "player of the year" poll, and then one guy LK_22 called himself a Bloomfieldtard ;).
Anyway good luck to your guy; I don't believe Bastl can be so consistent, I suppose he'll lose, uhmm, let's see! One thing is sure, I watched their match in Wrocaw and cheer for Boggo, but Marc Rosset sat next to me and looked like he was gonna throw me down from the balcony, so I left after first set.
