Naomi Cavaday meets a familiar opponent in the first round here. Naomi won in 3 sets against the promising young American at the same stage last year. If successful a former top 100 player awaits in the second round.

Naomi won 6-4 6-0

Pretty emphatic, given Brengle is c. WR 250, 18 year old ex junior WR 4.

R2 will be a WC or a LL.

don't know if this has been mentioned, or really if its the right place for it, but naomi cavaday recently signed a deal to use slazenger rackets, and is now (supposedly) using a slazenger quad flex 270
