Week 18 - Challenger - Tunis Open - $125,000 + H.

Jamie D has turned up here and is seeded 4th with Gil (POR). Their 1st round opponents are a wildcard pair from Tunisia. Jamie and Fred should be able to win that, I hope!

Would you believe that, when I checked the OoP yesterday evening, I was so mesmerised by the annnouncement of the "huge traffic jam" expected because  Sarko was goin' a-visitin' & the need for the players to plan their shuttle departure from the hotel accordingly, that I completely missed that, even though it's immediately above the announcement! redface.gif

Jamie and Fred duly obliged winning 6-4 6-1clap.gif and will next meet Montcourt and Pashanski (FRA/SRB) who beat their opponents, Moser and Sirianni by the same score. Last match, yet again, and on court 1. Hope it's lucky for them. teamwork.gif

And Jamie and Gil stroll into the semis with a 6-4, 7-5 win. They will either play the second seeds Bellucci and Soares or Bozoljac and Vemic, either of whom will be a step up from what they have played so far.

Edit: Beaten to it.

Must be due another win in that case. wink However, the task appears to be a little more difficult than in previous rounds. nod.gif

I really don't mean to be rude so please ignore me if you wish but I was wondering if it would be too much bother to perhaps not feel the need to quote each other quite so much as it is possible to follow the thread without repeating evryone's post so often.

Again, it's probably just a case of different people's preferences so please feel free to ignore me. Just a thought smile.gif

Yes, quoting the quotes of someone's quotes can be slightly annoying (not a trouble for me) to many people. Things can be kept quite neat if you just quote the last post or maybe the last two posts.

Just a humble suggestion. smile.gif
