Thanks for that Stircrazy.  At least M & M have avoided the Poles in their section of the draw. Fingers crossed they can build on last week's experience on the red stuff and get a bit further in this tournament. Good to see Ross back into the fray.

 I see Max has qualified for the singles draw, having beaten Ramírez Hidalgo (who gave Rog a torrid time this last week ) 6-4 6-1. He can't be all that bad on clay.

Unfortunately, he came up against our old friend, Robin Haase, in R1 & lost 2 & 2!

And getta load of the score in the match in which Agustín Calleri & Potito Starace beat "the Rati Thais":  1-6 6-3 [16-14]!

A Murray/The Hutch win the first set 6-4  

They did well on the big points in that set as their opponents won a much higher proportion of service points!

Lost the second set 6-2

5-2 up in the match tie-break...

7 match points...9-2!!!!!!
