QR2: Amar Vora UNR v Bjorn Munroe (BAH) WR 1764 or Joey B Burkhardt (USA) UNR QR2: Matthew Short UNR v (q11) M Rioux (CAN) WR 1145
19-year-old Vora played in QR1 in Bath and Jersey, losing 1 & 3 and 0 & 2 respectively. 18-year-old Short played in Futures qualifying in the US five times last year and never failed to win a match, though getting a bye in QR1 and then coming up against a seed straight away here may end that record.

QR2: Amar Vora UNR lost to Joey B Burkhardt (USA) UNR by 0 & 0 QR2: Matthew Short UNR beat (q11) M Rioux (CAN) WR 1145 by 2 & 3
QR3: Matthew Short UNR v Sergio Rojas (PER) WR 1477 - winner likely to meet (q4) Marcus Fugate (USA) WR 816
It's bad enough losing to someone called Joey B Burkhardt, but to get double bagelled by him ...
However, against expectations, Matthew keeps up his record of winning at least one round every time he enters Futures qualifying - this guy is going to end up ranked before too long, hopefully but probably not this week because - I thought I remembered the name so checked on ITF - Fugate is the guy who beat James Ward in the Little Rock QFs earlier this month!
Still, at least he's winning a match each time - isn't that how Morgan first caught our attention in Spain before he started picking up ranking points?
