Week 17 - Womens ITF (25K) - Incheon, Korea

Week 17 offers little in the way of Challengers,  but Georgie and Natasha have entered the first of 3 25K events in South Korea. These events were fruitful for Bally last year, and she reached the semi-final here. Tash's qualifying section is as follows:

[6] Lizaan Du Plessus (RSA) vs Joo-Hee Lee (KOR)
WC Hwa Lee (KOR) vs Hyung-Jung Kim (KOR)
Youn-Ji Kim (KOR) vs Shiho Akita (JPN)
Yoo-Mi Jung (KOR) vs [12] Natasha Khan (GBR)

Georgie's quarter of the draw is:

(6)Irena Pavlovic (FRA) v Yan-Ze Xie (CHN)
Chiaki Okadaue (JPN) v (SR)Georgie Stoop (GBR)
Tatjana Priachin (GER) v Q
(4)Natsumi Hamamura (JPN) v Alexandra Panova (RUS)

Okadaue was thumped by Mel in her last match, but Pavlovic is a serial Britbasher.

Good for Georgie. She needs to get points each time she uses her PR.

Next round could be interesting. Here's hoping!
