Florida-based Ross Connolly, WR 1347, is our sole representative in the qualifiers. Seeded 10, his first opponent is 18 year-old Chinese, Beng Ho-Beng, who has yet to make it through a set of qualifiers, with three wins from a dozen attempts; if he gets past Beng, and then his semi-final opponent, Ross is likely to meet the number 2 seed, Taiwanese Yi Chu-Huan, WR 933, but who has been as high as 677. Good luck, Ross.

It's Hong-Bo Deng not Beng Ho-Beng.

Thought Beng Ho-Beng sounded a silly name, not like Hong-Bo Deng. wink

Whoever he is he looks pretty rubbish.

Go go Ross in China!

(It's a long way to go for 1 Futures tourny isn't it?? He's back in Bournemouth the following week.)

I was thinking that, but he's not in the entry list for Korea, but is in the entry list for Bournemouth. confuse.gif

The entry lists are quite misleading on the Mens side. Basically

you can sign-in for qualifying anywhere whether you are on the alt list or not (unlike the Ladies).
