Good draw for Slabba, not such a good draw for Eaton. Slabba will be looking at a QF minimum here (722, 754 and UNR to get there) while Eaton probably isn't going to pick up a ranking point.
Eaton and Slabba also play doubles, but not looking too good as they've got the 2nd seeds Mertl and Pavlovs
alex lost 4-6, 7-6(7), 7-5 to ghedin....tough one, missed 2 mps in set 2 then lost a 4-1 lead in the breaker. apparently courts are lightning, smooth plastic ! so really tough to return
he won doubs with eaton 7-5, 6-4....apparently eaton's becoming a doubs specialist I think

How did Eaton do in the singles? He was due to play today, I believe?
Doh! Playing well in the doubles and crap in the singles (well, maybe not Chris, that was quite a good result under the circs) - get your priorities right lads!!

That's not the news we wanted to hear from Russia. Slabba must be gutted at that loss after wasting MPs, especailly with the fact he had a good draw. Eaton put a good effort up but it seems that Brits have a problem with winning close matches at the moment
