Week 14 - Futures F6 (10k) - Exmouth, Great Britain - FD in QR2 v (q6) Dawid Celt

Still waiting for the qualifying draw. Josh & Slabba should be seeded here. Chris Eaton & Ken Skupski are also DAs. FD believes Tim Hewitt has one of the WCs.

I'm going to try ringing them again in a few minutes to see if they can at least tell me what time I'm supposed to be playing

I must admit, I've often wondered when draws appear on the Net really late at night local time or not at all how the players get to know when they're playing. I always assumed the players would know even if we didn't. Clearly not without some effort on their part!

I think it would be posted in the tennis centre, but I left before everyone was done.

I'm sure they said it would be posted in the official hotel as well, but as I live down here I'm not staying in the hotel so can't find out that way

Yesterday their internet connection was down so I don't know whether it will working today or not.

I could text someone the results if they want me to

Didn't see him there yesterday and he hadn't signed in for qualifying when I did so don't know if he will be there but then some players were just signing in and then leaving

Good luck FD!

By the way, this Future has its own website! See http://www.ledleisure.co.uk/index/ETITT.asp

Still nothing as useful as a draw or OoP there, naturally ...

Good luck. It's great when we get 'insider' information. Anything that helps the understanding of how matches went or why something happened that a mere score doesn't explain is so useful, especially to non-players like me.

Oh dear - in a virtually empty qualifying draw, Daniel has a bye in R1 but will play no. 6 seed Dawid Celt (POL) WR 1105 in QR2. Celt beat Nikki Roenn 0 & 1 last week before going out to Bossel in 3 sets in the FQR. He then got a LL to the main draw and lost 4 & 4 to Slabba.

In at the deep end, then! wink

It turns out that Tim Hewitt has a qualifying WC, which clearly he didn't need, not a main draw WC. Very odd! Courtcrazy's boys are here too. smile.gif

QR1: There is no QR1!

QR2: Jeffrey Zungunde UNR v Orion Modebe UNR
QR2: Timothy Patient UNR v Maris Sipkovs (LAT) UNR
QR2: Rogan Egerton UNR v (q3) Antoine Tassart (FRA) WR 830
QR2: (q11/WC) Jonathan Kinsella WR 1491 v Ryan Horgan UNR
QR2: (q4/WC) Tim Hewitt WR 1017 v Mark Bowtell (IRL) UNR
QR2: (q5) James Feaver WR 1024 v Luke Campbell UNR
QR2: (q10/WC) Kyle Brassington WR 1240 v Harri Heliovaara (FIN) UNR
QR2: Daniel Clark UNR v (q6) Dawid Celt (POL) WR 1105
QR2: (q9) Philip Barlow WR 1196 v Ben Pritchard UNR
QR2: Rob Knight UNR v (q12) Henri Kontinen (FIN) WR 1733

FQR: Zungunde or Modebe v (q1) Jerzy Janowicz (POL) WR 706
FQR: (q2) Neil Bamford WR 825 v Patient or Sipkovs
FQR: Egerton or Tassart v Kinsella or Horgan
FQR: Hewitt or Bowtell v (q14) Jiri Kosler (CZE) WR 1851 or Lukaz Pelowski (POL) UNR
FQR: Feaver or Campbell v Brassington or Heliovaara
FQR: Clark or Celt v Barlow or Pritchard
FQR: no GB interest in S7
FQR: Knight or Kontinen v (q8/WC) Andrej Martin (SVK) WR 1181 or Gregory Chambaz (SUI)

A pity Fitzy isn't here, he could have done some damage with a good draw!
