James Auckland

A poor loss for James this week.  He has had no regular partner this year, has fallen a lot in the rankings, am I the only one who thinks he may be the next to pack it in?

No, I think he needs to play more regulary, and if that happens he will work his way back in the top 100 and beyond.

Things just haven't happened for him in the last year, as a year ago he was making ATP finals and challenging Jamie Murray for the British number 1 spot.

He had a horrible draw this week, but he seems to have suffered some surprise losses for a long time now.

Maybe he needs to drop down to futures for a couple of weeks just to get some confidence and some wins together, possibly over the clay season as that is where he is least likely to score points at higher levels

He needs to find a regular partner as well as he has had his best results when teaming with someone (Delgado, Huss, Hutchins)
