Don't know why the ITF has the Exmouth future down as Indoor Hard as it won't be played on that.
It's where I've played almost all of my tennis, and while it does have indoor hard courts, it will be played on Carpet as it has been for the last two years
ITF does have it down as carpet, so I assume you mean the ATP site, where it says indoor hard.
I wouldn't pay too much attention to whatthe ATP site says about Futures - I've noticed this year that the ATP Challengers/Futures page has had lots of inaccuracies on it in the Futures section, in terms of:
- surfaces - events being held not being included (especially the African ones) - cancelled events being included - whether or not tournaments are +H, etc
Some (but not all) of this tends to get corrected when the week in question actually starts.

Yep.... meant the ATP.
Doesn't say a lot for how they are running the game and how much interest they take in the lower levels of tennis though if they don't even know the basic details about the tournaments that are on the calender (even if Futures are essentially controlled by the ITF)
Well yer i know what you mean the carpet courts at exmouth are so much beter than the acrlyic courts. I have played there all my life and will be down there for the futures. So if any one wants updates i will be able to give them. Just gotta hope for some british success. Any news on entry lists for it?
I don't know yet whether I'll be at the tournamet to watch... I'm supposed to go back to Uni on the Monday but depending on my schedule I may be able to be there for some of the days (and it's my Bday midway through the week so I may be back for that weekend anyway so should be able to catch the semis and the finals)
But I am planning on entering the qualifying competition... just got to hope that the draw isn't full so that I can enter and get my name up on the ITF website (and begin my challenge to take the record away from Robert Dee)

Hope you get in, that would be brilliant fun Have you got your IPIN?
In case you don't manage to get in, do we have anyone in the Channel Islands? Jersey's coming up and I seem to remember thinking that even I could have got into qualifying there!

I've applied for it so in the next few days or so I should get it.
EDIT: My emails have now updated themselves... and in the latest batch I have recieved is one telling me my IPIN registration number
I would have got into qualifying last year if it wasn't for the fact I had glandular fever so there's hope that I will do so... and if I win a game I'd be ecstatic

Wow, you have something in common with Fed already!
Great news about the IPIN, not least since I now believe you were serious about this. Does having one also let you see Futures entry lists earlier than on ITF?
Who are you, so we can look out for you in the draw?

I guess it does... seeing as I do know who is down to play in this event at the moment (but the lists are done alphabetically so it isn't that easy to work out who would make the cut)
Current Brits down on the entry list for this tournament are:
Allinson, Bains, Bamford, Barlow, Bradshaw, Brewer, Cooper, Eaton, Feavor, Flanagan, Felton, Goodall, Hewitt, Illingsworth, Jones, Kasiri, Kinsella, Manlow, Miotto, Rushby, Sagoo, Slabisnksy, Skupski, Thornley (as well as our old friends Rudy Coco, Mozart's some time doubles partner Phillip de Bonnevie, and Vladimir Ignatik)
(all of them have this event as their priority so hopefully a lot of them will be there)
My name is Daniel Clark - hopefully I'll be seen in the draw
Sagoo! Will he get a main draw wildcard considering he won Corby British Tour again?

Now here's a fascinating new departure for bt.net; we've recently had players become posters, e.g. Fitzy and Edward Seator, but Daniel will be our first poster become player.
You realise you'll have a ready-made fan club, Daniel! Best of luck with a) getting in, and b) your debut match.

I know. I was thinking to myself earlier, why did this sound so unique and fun when we already have players posting here, but that's exactly why.
