Yep!  Interestingly, Jamie & the American, Ryler de Heart, are the only seeds still standing, de Heart being N° 5!

So tonight should tell us whether Jamie is truly a British tennis player or not. If he's a true British tennis player, he will self-destruct thinking about the implications of there being no other seeds left in his half and none of the other top 4 seeds left at all, if he's not, the opportunity it gives him for another win will inspire him. I hope he's not! smile

I think he's already proved he's not. If he has a slight blip here, I'm sure it will only be due to tiredness. Go Jamie - we're all behind you.

Jamie lost 7-5 2-6 6-0 cry - another recovery from a set down to take the 2nd, but it looks like the last three weeks completely caught up with him in the 3rd. cry - hopefully nothing worse than that.

Brilliant two and a half weeks though, I hope he enjoys taking next week off! smile

Btw all four semi-finalists here are unseeded, and they don't even include the unseeded players who looked the most dangerous like Ignatik!

It must've finished by now so hopefully we'll hear soon. And just as hopefully it's another win for Jamie. It unusual for ANY tennis player (not just a Brit) to win so many matches in a row so whatever the result today he should be happy with these last few weeks. And just now needs to move up to the challenger scene and then beyond to the heady heights of the ATP tour.

Craig, any chance of asking Jamie what he's next tournament is planned to be? (or has that already been said somewhere?) Alongside the congratualtions/comiserations (delete as appropriate) from us all of course smile.gif

cry.gif In the time is took to write my last post Steven managed to post the result. Shame that it was quite tame in the end, but sheer exhaustion must have played it's part and I say again, it's still been an excellent few weeks and this result certainly doesn't lessen my enthusiastic support of the Baker boy biggrin.gif

Can we do a deal? If Jamie moves up to Challengers later this month, we stop having to look at an Arsenal footballer every time you post? winkashamed
