No less than 10 Brits in qualifying here, with two in each of five different qualifying sections - Dan & Joshua are the only ranked players in theirs, so hopefully one of them will make it!. This is a 64-player qualifying draw, with 4 rounds of qualifying and 5 wins needed to gain a single ranking point!

Tried ITF, ATP and coretennis and didn't find it anywhere.
Was going to predict a 2 or 3 qualifiers this week, but with 4 rounds I guess we'll be lucky to get as many as that. Rice and Cox have been getting close the last few weeks in Spain. Come on guys do it for us this week!
QR1 Fabio Borges (Ita) d. Robert Dee 6-0, 7-6(4) Sergio de la Fuente-Ramos (Esp) d. David Rice (14) 7-6(5) ret Daniel Cox (3) d. Fernando Barrios-Lopez (Esp) 7-6(3), 6-4 Joshua Milton (13) d. Alberto Adam Navarro (Esp) 6-0, 6-1 Paul Brown d. Alexander Hillbricht (GER) 6-4, 6-1 Bogdan Djurdjevic (Ger) d. Alexander Hutchings 7-6(5), 6-2 Alexander Ward d. Jeremais Lima-Perez (Esp) 6-1, 3-6, 6-3 Daniel Smethurst (16) d. Alessandro Hamuth (Aut) 6-1, 6-1 Michal Nivrela (Ned) d. James Armstrong 6-0, 6-0 Georgi Rumenov Payakov (Esp) d. Greg Goodall 6-3, 6-1
QR2 Joshua Milton (13) d. Guillem Amilo-Zaragueta (Esp) 6-2, 6-3 Daniel Cox (3) v Roberto Rodriguez-Alonso (Esp) Paul Brown v Guillem Collado-Castells (Esp) Alexander Ward v Adria Mercadal-Berenguer (Esp) Daniel Smethurst v Inigo Santos-Fernandez (Esp)
Paul Brown got thrashed 0 & 1 by the no. 5 seed in QR3. Still, not not bad progress for someone we'd never even heard of before!
P.S. He was 17 earlier this week, he's 949th in the Junior Combined rankings a career high after he qualified and then won two main draw matches in Bangladesh last week) and this is his first Future.

These bloody four round qualifying tournaments are annoying. Shame to see Dan Cox failing to qualify. Think he's struggling a little on the Spanish Futures tour but we know it's very tough. Encouraging to see him out there, probably learning a lot more from this than he could by staying in the UK Futures picking up the odd WC. Think he needs to start picking up some points soon though if he's going to move up the rankings like we thought he could.

The Tenispain website has Josh Milton losing 6-7 (5), 1-6 to Diez, Drew. Are you, perhaps, looking at Josh's semi-final win over Dios-Zetterling - it bore a 6-2, 7-5 scoreline? I would second your applause for young Ward - a very promising showing.
