I'm afraid Nadal will prove a step too far for Tsonga but I'm certainly going to be supporting him a lot more closely after this. I watched the whole match today and he was playing wonderfully (also Lloyd preferred Youzhny which is always a recommendation ), like you say Drew, echoes of Murray in earlier years. Good luck to Tsonga against Nadal, I hope it's a match I can watch.

Nice effort from Tsonga in the final, although he didn't play at his QF/SF level [mostly due to Djoko's depth and winner count] he didn't appear to choke under the spotlight and gave a good account of himself. Hopefully this won't just be a flash in the pan for him because [dare i say it..] he's an exciting player to watch.. when he's not beating Brits of course.
