Bethan, Count, thanks for the tips - now I get it, I think! - and Count, I love your new conspiracy theory, I imagine you're going to have lots of fun with it! ... I think it was mean-spirited of the Moods to pretend you can't spell 'finale'.
I've started the new threads in the women's and juniors' pages, as suggested; you'll see I've also added appeals for expert help as players reach new heights of which I'll be unaware - hope that's ok. Will someone be 'stickying' these?
On a slightly different note, now that the ladies and youngsters have their own recognition, I think we should remove the references to Anna and Barnesy from the men's sticky, but I didn't want to do that without approval from on high. Is it ok for me to go ahead with that?
And I think you've just been unanimously elected "Editor of all Success Threads" - so please delete as you see fit - and let us know if you want other posts deleting to tidy things up a bit
Rob - Thanks for that; I've removed the Anna/ Barnesy references now that they have a home of their own. I can't imagine wanting rid of other posts (unless someone says something nasty, but true, about me!), as I, and I imagine, everyone else, enjoys reading them; thanks for the offer, though. Once the new rankings come out, I'll think on how best to display them - my 'original' version was simply to draw them to folks' attention, but now it's official, we'll want to do it well.

New provisional Doubles CAREER HIGHS for CHRIS EATON and KEN SKUPSKI, as a result of reaching the Sheffield F2 semi-finals - 752 for Chris, 419 for Ken. I believe that moves Ken above Neil Bamford, who drops points this week.
More new Doubles HIGHS today: ED SEATOR's semi-final spot in Costa Rica takes him to a provisional 628. CHRIS EATON's and KEN SKUPSKI's continued progress to the final in Sheffield provisionally lifts them to 720 and 413, respectively.

What d'you mean "Mods/(Moods?)", DJ? I ain't no Mod, just a bog-standard poster on this 'ere board, not to mention an ex-professional technical translator with a self-appointed role as guardian ( ) of the (British) English (no Yank allowed ) language! Need I say more?
MODERATORS: Please could this be moved to become the first posting on the thread? The intention would be to update this weekly when the official rankings are issued; unofficial improvements, and notifications of victories (I can't imagine I'll miss any men's victories unless ill/away/dead/jailed, but similar arrangements would apply to women/juniors, where I just might miss something) would just appear in the normal course of posting, whether emanating from you, me or any other poster.
Could you then also, please, wipe this footnote from history.
