Andy's Live Ranking During Weeks 3-4 (Australian Open)

The New Table is posted here (on britishtennis.net)

Andy's defending 150 points for a fourth round exit last year. The players around him are all defending at least that much.

As a result, Andy climbs one place to sit at world number 8, as Gonzalez defends 700 points as last year's finalist, and drops back from 7th to 24th.

Other players dropping places are Robredo, Chela, Hewitt and Haas.

A tournament win for Andy could see him climb as high as 4.

Federer is now just 650 points ahead of Rafa..... if he exits early..............

What- if for Monday:

Andy has 1685 points and is sitting at 8.

If Andy beats Tsonga on Monday, he'll have 1715 points
He could overtake: No- one.
He could be overtaken by: No- one.

If Andy loses:
He could be overtaken by: No- one.

Andy lost, as did Moya and Chela (Hmm - any Davis Cup consolation in the fact he's performed the same as the Clay- courters??)

Robredo's the only player to advance, overtaking Blake to rise to 15.

You mean I have to start supporting Djokovic? Ugh. Well, only for Andy.
